First opening its doors in the so-called Belle Époque, the Gran Hotel was originally built in 1896. It then underwent a complete renovation in 2004.
The hotel and casino remodelling was the work of architect Rafael Moneo, who respected the building’s original façade, catalogued as being of National Touristic Interest.
For the Gran Hotel renovation, materials were meticulously selected, the original stonework was maintained completely, and any additions to replace missing pieces were handcrafted to respect the original aesthetic. The walls and flooring are made of oak, although some floorspace features polished limestone as well.
The hotel-boutique offers a luxurious restaurant and a thermal spa, as well as a walkway to the casino where all our parties will take place.
It only has 40 rooms, so don’t let them slip away!
